AGWA places the extract at the heart of the flavour and then weaves an impressive list of ingredients around it. Dried, macerated coca leaves are steam distilled to produce an alcoholic extract with characteristics of the original plant.

A highly versatile alcohol ingredient there is a slight musk aroma overtone with elements of dried fruit. The flavour is bittersweet, originally spikey on the tongue but quickly settling into peppery notes that last. It is overall a gentle extract with a bitterness bite. The bitterness and raw pepper sensation the reasons the coca leaf has always been partnered with layers of dominating flavours.

The Process

Step 1
BOLIVIAN Mountains 

Juice rich Coca Leaves Are hand-picked 2000m  Above sea Level in The Andes.  AGWA has an exclusive Licensee to fly Coca Leaves under Armed Guard to Amsterdam. 

Step 2
HIGH-SECURITY RESEARCH LAB 

100% of the primary Alkaloid is removed.  De-Cocainized Coca Leaves Are macerated And Distilled To produce spirit, flavor, and natural colour. 

Step 3
Flavour house

The Coca lead distillate is blended with 36 botanicals. The flavours marry before being approved by the master blender as the AGWA flavour.

Step 4
Distillery

The AGWA flavour is blended with 5 times distilled vodka, sugar, water, and then natural colour. Agitation tanks determine the liquid's strength and viscosity. The liquid is transferred to bottling tanks to produce AGWA De Bolivia. Finally tasted and shipped to you.
