The dried, macerated coca leaves are steam distilled to produce an alcoholic extract with aromatic characteristics of the original plant.

The process
Juice rich coca leaves are hand-picked 2000m above sea level in the Andes. AGWA’s exclusive license is then used to fly the coca leaves under armed guard to Amsterdam.
100% of the primary alkaloid is removed. De-cocainized coca leaves are macerated and steam distilled to produce spirit, flavour and natural colour.
The coca leaf distillate is blended and infused with 36 botanicals. The flavours marry before being approved by the master blender as the AGWA flavour.
The AGWA flavour is blended with 5 times distilled vodka, sugar, water and natural colour. Agitation tanks determine the liquid's strength and viscosity. The liquid is transferred to bottling tanks to produce AGWA De Bolivia. Finally, we taste and ship to you.
